He now has ads on Kijiji not listing his phone number or email address. When I replied to his ad, he had two new addresses: aceraspire@rogers.com
amdaceraspire@rogers.com

Maybe he didn't like the flood of spams to his cellphone and email inboxes that took me an hour to sign him up for.. ;)

I was taken in (Damn it all... I even looked up his info, but didn't find this site until AFTER the money was in his greedy little SoB paws)...

Anyways:
www.recol.ca is a site which links reports to the RCMP and local provincial police. it doesn't file your official police report (You still need to do this), but it DOES send info to the RCMP / other agencies to try and at least notify them.

Taken for 700. So much for my faith and trust in the universe.

Has anyone gone the P.I. route and paid for the info service to get his current BC address? I'll pay the guy a visit and help him see the error of his ways.

I was looking into reverse phone number lookup services and stuff, and the one that seemed reputable enough (though nowadays I doubt) said they were free if you didn't get the info you asked for.

We could organise a rally and ambush his sorry ass at home kindly asking for our money back.

I am very proud to see Mike has been charged. Good job to the victims of this scam artist for contacting the police and informing them of this website. Hopefully charges will be laid in the other provinces he has infected, this is only the beginning of the end for Mike.
