First of many....

My stubborn friend came upon an amazing deal for two laptops from which he could obtain for 650 dollars. Now I would have never even inquired but he couldn't resist. So an hour and a few phone calls later, we're at western union sending 300 dollars over. I talked to this POS scum on my damn phone, and to tell you the truth, he seemed alright. A couple text messages later he mentioned the items were on route to my buddy via air canada cargo. I started getting suspicious when he would come up with excuses as to why he couldn't provide tracking numbers. Anyways, his cell phone number is now not in service, his email inboxes are full. His name is supposedly Michael Mogten, but some further snooping on google came up with many variants, like Mike Ogedin, Ogten, Ogden and Mogten.

He apparently lives at 390 Rundlehorn Circle NE, Calgary AB Canada T1Y5T9.

Googled his house, and it shows up but his home phone does not as he said he's with vonage.

Now i know theres probably no way to get the cash back and my friend feels stupid/pissed at the moment, so please no stupid, "HAHAHAHA you got scammed BS". Any advice guys? I know I would have never done what he did, as soon as I heard western union, the alarms went off, but he didn't listen
