UPDATED INFO

Recent emails have informed me that Mike is currently residing in the maritimes (nova scotia to be exact). There is a warrant for his arrest in Quebec however the police in his local area are unable to " do anything ". Our justice system at it's best eh?

PLEASE! If you live in Nova Scotia and have been scammed by this individual, contact your police IMMEDIATELY and give them your info and this website. He must be stopped once and for all.

If there is a warrant for his arrest and you have his address. Why is there a problem with at all? Shouldn't you contact the police station deemed in charge of wherever he is currently? I don't understand why there is nothing they can do to get him? What were you told?

I, too, got scammed by this guy. I see he is listing again, on Craigslist, 2 in Halifax, one in Toronto, one in Oakville and one in Hamilton only a 17" Macbook Pro for 1400$. All the ads look VERY similar.

I will explain to you step by step how this will work:

2) I go to UPS and leave the Laptop onto your name as the intended receiver.
3) UPS will check the Laptop to see if everything is OK with it and also the legal papers that will come along with the Laptop.
4) UPS will send you a delivery notification to let you know they have the Laptop, in which you will be told that they have the Laptop and that they checked it.
5) At this point you will have to go to a Western Union Agent Location and make a money deposit on the UPS payment agent name for the amount we agreed.
6) After you make the deposit you will have to send the info about the money deposit to UPS (MTCN, sender's name and address)
7) UPS will verify the payment informations and if everything is in order they will deliver the Laptop to you .
8) After you receive the Laptop, check it and see that all is in order you will instruct UPS to send me the information about the money deposit and I will be able to receive the funds. If you decide not to keep it, you can send it back free of charge and they will refund you the same day.
I will pay UPS for the shipping and you will pay Western Union for the Money Transfer fee .

I was just scammed but Mike and he is using a sympatico account now. He is in St Johns FLD from the last. I heard he deals with Royal bank. And Is currently getting scared as I told him I worked for a company as a PI.As I do in real life and all of a sudden he was willing to give my money back. I am going to be calling the authorities in Niagara Region as soon as possibly.

New info as of February 5th 2008.
Mike Ogden is hiding out in St Johns NFL. His new addy is mikeblackberry@sympatico.ca. His number he uses is 902-292-3056. I know all this because he scammed me out of 275 bucks from the site called kijiji.com. And before I check the sight out to find out if anyone else was scammed by the guy I never thought to even look. My stupidity I guess. I not that familiar with the net so I never thought it could happen. Hope this helps with your search for the POS cause I'm reporting it right away to day and send the info to St Johns for them to check out.

Too bad I just saw this now.... Got scammed on Ebay a couple of weeks ago by this goon, out 1000 dollars. He was posting under the name apevia111, and I and a couple of other people send e-transfers to mikebraidogden@gmail.com.

He was texting me with a Winnipeg number, so not sure what to make of that.

Hope we can catch this guy.

According to him since I texted him yesterday that he was "coming to Regina on Monday" due to "his flight being cancelled on saturday cause flight from toronto did not arrive". The product I "bought" from him was an asus g750jh that he was selling for $650 but I did it in less....

Number I have from him is 12048084250 and that is the number he used to deliver text messages.
Looks like I fell for it when he wanted Interact transfer instead of paypal...

Michael Blankley-Ogden was the name he gave me. He is now using 204-808-7390. Winnipeg. He has a lot of smart phone posts on Kijiji. Using the scam story Roger's engineer and he is selling phones which are now off testing. I reported all ads on kijiji as scams. I sent the ad with a scam warning on Facebook (hope it will be shared). I opened a fraud case with Anti-fraud canada. This is federal. He cannot hide from provincial jurisdiction. www.antifraudcentre.ca I texted his new number and he said he wanted to give me my money back if I send him my email address. I am calling anti fraud office on Monday. He is to exposed not to get caught.

He claimed to work at Bell. He also posts his location in Charlottetown, PEI. Still out there posting scams and I got scammed by him just this week $450. Posting on Facebook Market Place saying he works for Rogers as a tech and sells phones cheap. The ads says shipping from PEI and his number he is using 9025004046 and the email of ogdenmik30629@gmail.com. Send what appears to be legit emails but then disappears.
